Edward Emerson French is an actor, audio book narrator, educator and Emmy winning Special Makeup Effects Artist for his work on the Fox series HOUSE. His recent work includes Clint Eastwood’s AMERICAN SNIPER, TEEN WOLF, the WESTWORLD TV pilot for HBO and the pilot for Philip K. Dick’s THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE. He recently completed makeup effects for an anti-smoking public service announcement for the F.D.A featuring Cierra Ramirez star of A.B.C TV’s THE FOSTERS. His many audio book narrations include H.G. Wells THE INVISIBLE MAN, M.R. James CASTING THE RUNES and H.P. Lovecraft’s Herbert West: Reanimator. French was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1952 to a housewife mother and a father who was an itinerant Disk jockey. He spent the majority of his childhood and teenage years in Pelham, New Hampshire, graduating from Alvirne High School, going on to attend the University of New Hampshire while at the same working at radio station WHAV in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
